Hear me out… Therapy isn't just for people in crisis nor is it for people who have clearly defined goals. It's also for those moments when you don't have the words, but you have the feeling. Maybe you're:

  • Stuck in a cycle of overthinking or second guessing yourself

  • Struggling with loneliness, even when you're around people

  • Feeling like you're just going through the motions

  • Unsure of what you want, but certain this isn’t it

You don't need a diagnosis or a big event to "qualify" for therapy. You just need a space where you can be heard without judgment. That's what we offer.

What Can Talk Therapy Look Like?

In sessions, we might talk about anything that’s been on your mind lately. That might include:

  • Why your friendships feel one-sided

  • How your family makes you feel guilty for saying no

  • How you feel stressed when trying to get everything done on your to-do list

  • What you want your future to look like, but don't know how to get there

We’ll notice patterns, explore your thoughts, and help you tune into your needs. And over time, you may begin to feel clearer about what matters to you and what changes you want to make.

Sometimes, therapy is the only place people feel safe to say what they really think. That’s powerful.

  • Better Minds admin will email you to schedule an intro meeting with your preferred/best matched therapist.

    (What is an intro meeting? Some therapists call this a consultation or consult call. It is a free 15-minute meeting with a therapist to discuss what is bringing to seek therapy, how that therapist works in therapy appointments, and any questions you may have).

  • You will have the intro meeting with your therapist and schedule your first appointment.

  • After your intro meeting, Better Minds admin will email you the initial paperwork (consents, etc.) to review before your first appointment.
