ADHD Therapy

Feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like your brain just works differently?
Ever wonder why simple tasks feel impossible, why arguments keep happening in your relationship, or why sleep never seems restful? Do you find yourself pacing to focus, avoiding eye contact, or stuck in a cycle of anxiety and shame?

Whether it’s ADHD, executive functioning struggles, or anxiety layered on top, we offer therapy that actually gets it. No more masking, no more “just try harder” advice. Just support that’s built for your brain.

Let’s work together to untangle the chaos, reduce the overwhelm, and help you show up as your full self.

Do you feel like your brain works differently—and that the world wasn’t built with that in mind?
Maybe you’ve always struggled with eye contact, time management, or finishing tasks, even though you care deeply and try your best. Perhaps ADHD has led to misunderstandings or arguments in your relationships, where it feels like your intentions don’t match your impact. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and therapy can help.

At Better Minds Counseling & Services, we offer compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming therapy for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, and the emotional weight of being misunderstood.

Neurodivergence Therapy for Adults

Living in a World That Wasn’t Built for Your Brain

If you have ADHD or other neurodivergent traits, daily life can feel like running a marathon with untied shoes. You may find yourself:

  • Pacing around the room to focus or calm your mind (pacing and ADHD go hand-in-hand!)

  • Struggling to fall asleep because your brain won’t shut off (ADHD sleep problems are real)

  • Clashing with a partner who doesn’t understand why the laundry never gets finished or why conversations escalate into arguments (ADHD and arguments, especially in relationships, can be exhausting)

  • Getting frustrated with yourself for forgetting appointments, losing track of time, or not being able to “just do the thing” (hello, executive functioning and anxiety)

Neurodivergent adults often carry years of internalized shame, self-doubt, and a sense that they have to “mask” or overcompensate to be accepted. Therapy gives you a space to unmask, unpack those patterns, and develop skills and insight that actually work for your brain.

Therapy that Understands the Full Picture

Our therapists understand that neurodivergence isn’t a disorder to be fixed—it’s a different way of experiencing the world. Therapy isn’t about making you more “normal.” It’s about helping you feel more you.

We work with clients on:

  • Building relationship communication skills (especially when one partner has ADHD and the other doesn’t)

  • Managing ADHD arguments with more understanding and less guilt

  • Developing systems that support executive functioning without burnout

  • Reducing anxiety that comes from missed deadlines, social pressure, or sensory overload

  • Improving sleep patterns and understanding how ADHD impacts rest

  • Navigating identity and self-worth when you’ve always felt “too much” or “not enough”

You don’t need to be more productive to be more worthy. You deserve support that celebrates your strengths while helping you address challenges in a sustainable way.
