Online Teen DBT Skills Group in Pennsylvania
Tools for Tough Emotions: A DBT Skills Group for Teens
2 Offerings: Wednesdays 4P, Friday 5PM
Does it feel like your teen's emotions are too big… or too much for everyone around them? This DBT Skills Group for teens is designed to help your child—and their relationships with family, friends, and peers. This group focuses on teaching evidence-based DBT skills, including mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, that help teens build a life worth living. Each week, we explore and practice actionable, research-backed techniques that teens can use in real life, at school, at home, and everywhere in between.
Come learn skills to manage big emotions, and leave with a supportive peer community and a toolbox of coping strategies that motivate values-based change.
If your teen struggles with intense emotions, impulsive behaviors, or self-harm, this group is for them. DBT skills teach teens not only how to build a healthier relationship with themselves, but also with the people around them. They'll learn how to create and maintain relationships that are fulfilling, respectful, and long-lasting—reducing conflict at home and building confidence with peers.
Your teen will leave each session with new insight into their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, plus practical skills to explore self-esteem, personal values, and healthy ways of relating to others. If you're looking for a teen DBT group that builds real emotional resilience and encourages your child to become their best self, this group is for them.
This is an ongoing, weekly group for teens
